They use the smallest possible miniature in ear transducers normally used in hearing aids. These are fitted inside a foam ear plug that moulds itself to the user's ears. The in ear transducers are tuned to voice frequency band and are designed to reject higher and lower frequency noise to give the best possible clarity.
